Women’s barbershop (a cappella choir for those of you who aren’t familiar with Barbershop singing) is exclusively found at Skyline High School in the Salt Lake valley and we are proud of it. Highlites consists of 28 exceptional young women in all different stages of their high school career. Being a performing choir, these girls were required to audition for their spot in this choir and once in, it is a lot of work but also a lot of fun. Our two main debuts are Christmas and our Barbershop show in conjunction with the Troubadours. For Christmas, we prepare a twenty minute show and perform approximately twelve different times during the Holiday season to bring the Christmas spirit to people in our community. It is an amazing experience to see the power of music to touch lives. Highlites is a great place to make friends and consequently, we have become a family of sisters.
